Purpose:
The textile vertical combustion test apparatus holds the sample on a stainless steel holder and places it above the burner. The burner produces a flame of the specified height to ignite the sample. After the specified ignition time, the apparatus measures the sample's continued burning, smoldering duration, and burn damage length. This apparatus is suitable for testing flame-retardant fabrics such as woven, knitted, coated, and laminated products.
