Purpose:
Xenon lamp aging test chamber is an important means of selecting formulas and optimizing product composition in scientific research and production processes, and it is also an important aspect of product quality. Application materials such as coatings, plastics, aluminum-plastic panels, paints, and automotive safety glass should undergo weather resistance tests according to product standards. The main factors causing material aging are sunlight and humidity. The weather resistance test chamber can simulate a cyclic program of sunlight, rainwater, and dew, where the tested material is placed at a certain temperature and subjected to alternating light and moisture for testing. It can reproduce the hazards that occur outdoors for months or even years in a matter of days or weeks. Artificial accelerated aging test data can help select new materials, modify existing materials, and evaluate how changes in formulations affect product durability.
